I will also fit and alter Mother of the Bride/Groom, Evening & Prom Wear, First Holy Communion and Christening gowns .

About Me
Let me introduce myself!
Hi! I'm Charlie - the Seamstress! This is me all glammed up at a wedding in a dress I made. You can't tell from the picture, but the fabric is all about sewing!
I'm 40, I live with my husband, my 9-year-old son, and a host of pets.
I love wine and chocolate and I hate avocado!(controversial, I know!).
I had breast cancer last year but was lucky enough to catch it early. I do a yearly fundraiser for a cancer charity.
Whatever body hangups or medical issues you have, I get it, I've seen it and got the scars to prove it! And we can work around it together. I pride myself on making all my customers feel totally comfortable during their fittings.
My workspace is a dedicated, air-conditioned studio in my garden. (so I can't complain about the commute!)
When I finished school, I was lucky enough to get an apprenticeship in a bridal shop that created bespoke dresses. I have been in the bridal industry for over 20 years now, and I still love it!
I have several city and guilds qualifications in clothing manufacture, tailoring and pattern cutting.
I love creating something different and coming up with solutions to design or fit issues.
I believe every dress should fit perfectly and make you feel like a princess. After all, this is the dress you will always remember as THE dress you wore on the first day of happily ever after! ❤️
